Hi there! I'm Duke, a 2-year-old, 65lb Lab mix. I'm a bundle of energy, always ready for a good run or a game of fetch. My friends here say I'm friendly and brave, and I sure do love to make new pals! I'm always up for a good belly rub or a treat, but I'm also quite content to lay at your feet after a day full of fun. Kids over 12 would be best in a home, as they can keep up with my energy! I'm a sweet and friendly boy who's always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a happy bark. I'm crate-trained, making me a perfect fit for a home where structure and routine is valued. I can be serious, but I have a fun goofy side that shines when I'm with those I love! I'm great with large dogs, just not any small dogs please, I just ask to meet any dogs I'd be living with before adding me to your family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will bring joy and laughter to your home, then I'm your guy! At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
