My Story
Dug! With a personality EXACTLY like 'Dug' from 'UP', you can NEVER go wrong with this sweet boy! He is sweeter than honey, and goofier than goofy! Dug follows those he loves around like they're his greatest treasure, and well, he carries his bones around like treasure, too! He is a hammy guy, weighing in around 20 pounds at around 4 months old; he is a huge fan of treats, no doubt! Dug has a special spot in his heart for belly rubs, and ear scratches, and never is quite able to get enough of them! Dug is also quite the smart little boy, he is completely crate-trained, making it that much easier to transition him into your home! Plus, he will do anything for a treat & some praise, what could possibly be better?! There is no single thing better than a puppy who loves everyone, everything, and adores giving cuddles and kisses!
I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable deposit of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic, not covered elsewhere), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of my sterilization is sent to AWF!
Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!!
Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns.
