Please consider opening your heart and home to this unique old man. Drake is a very sweet dog who is curious and loves to know what you’re doing. His favorite things are a comfy bed and having his human within eye sight of him… and cheese, that’s right, he is crazy about cheese and will do just about anything for it! Drake loves to take slow leisurely walks and smell everything along the way. He doesn’t mind other dogs or cats- and if they are calm he will even cuddle up with them. Drake is a special senior who has dealt with a lot in his life. He was nearly dead when we rescued him years ago and it took a long time for us to get him healthy. Drake still has slight vision and hearing impairment, but he is completely independent and very capable. Likely because of his disabilities, he can be a bit stubborn and cranky from time to time as many old men are! However, his foster has, as have we, found it pretty easy to maneuver any dislikes of his. Drake deserves his golden years in a warm low-key household, does that sound like your home?? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
