She's gorgeous! ...Someone said "She's a really doll"! And the name stuck....
This pretty lady was found on Eagle Rock Reservation tied to a tree. She was wearing a harness so we were sure she had an owner, but no one called. No one came looking. Now we need to find her a new home.
Dolly's been to the vet who estimated she's about 2 years old. (We're thinking now she's about 3.) She weighed in at 58 lbs. Her Fecal/Giardia tests and Heartworm/Lyme tests were negative, and she's been given her Rabies and Distemper Vaccinations. Dolly tries to keep her run clean which could be an indication she's housebroken.
Since Dolly was found as a stray we don't know how she is with children or other animals, so we feel an adult household would suit her best.
If you have any questions, would like more information about Dolly or if you are considering adoption, you can give us a call. Or, speak with an animal control officer through the West Orange Health Department at 973-325-4121. Best yet, stop by and take a look. The Township's Animal Control Facility (commonly called The Animal Shelter) is located at 311 Watchung Avenue, West Orange; and is open Monday through Friday 4:30 - 5:30.... .... (Occasionally additional hours can be made by appointment.)
