Meet Dolly and Lucy! This bonded pair of sisters was dumped in early May at a home that is unable to keep them. They appear to be German shepherd and labrador mixes and roughly a year old. Although they were very scared at first, the sisters soon began to trust their caretakers and relax a little.
A note from Dolly and Lucy's caretaker: "We were able to move them into our fenced yard to keep them safe for now. Each of them shows unique traits of character. Dolly is super sweet and playful, loves to be around humans, and follows you around. Lucy is alert, obedient, and always lets her sister have food first. They have an incredible bond towards each other and can't stand to be out of sight of one another. We'd love it if they could have a home together. Unfortunately, due to [our] medical conditions, we simply can't keep them forever. We would appreciate your help in giving them a chance of decent life after what they have experienced."
