Dogs will arrive throughout the year

Please read this entire paragraph. We have dogs coming in all the time. We hand select great dogs and we based them on behavior. Duffy's Friends will adopt to Rochester, NY only. You will have to check our Petfinder website each week. We hold applications open for two weeks as we match dogs and will not allow first come first serve. We may not be the group for you as we don't allow apartments, condos, and out-of-area adoptions. We also require a fenced-in yard and your patio or porch with a deck railing does not count. The invisible fence is not allowed. Reputable breeders are not found in Penn Yan, NY, or the Southern Tier as the Puppy Millers live there. If you buy from a breeder ensure this breeder is of good standing and not breeding to make a living. The parents should be in the home when you visit. If the parents are not on-site, you are in a Millers' home. Don't buy a puppy from a miller, as the mother dogs are held hostage for reproduction. You don't want to be a part of the problem.
