My Story

Name: Dodam Age: Estimated six months Sex: Spayed Female Weight: 15.2 lbs Energy Level: Medium-High Foster Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/babpul.ee?igsh=MWFlYzZ6NHl1aWZrcw==] Rescue Story: Dodam was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Hongsung, South Korea. She is currently being fostered in South Korea and will fly to the US once she finds her forever family. Approved applicants will have a two-week trial period to ensure a perfect match and commitment. Personality & Behavior - Friendly and Sociable: Dodam is friendly with everyone she meets, regardless of age or gender. She may take a few minutes to warm up but quickly becomes affectionate. However, she might be wary of men in dark clothing or children who run towards her suddenly. - Children: Dodam is good with children and enjoys their company. - Dog Interactions: Dodam initially feels intimidated by large dogs but quickly warms up and enjoys peaceful coexistence. She gets along well with small dogs. - Other Animals: Dodam is curious about cats but respects their space if they show disinterest. She might chase birds during walks. - Dodam occasionally engages in minor mischiefs, like chewing on slippers or floor moldings, which is typical of her age. She is curious and playful, making her an excellent fit for a family that can provide her with ample love and attention. Training & Habits - Leash Walking: Dodam walks well on a leash with minimal pulling. She might get startled by unexpected things like cars or shadows but quickly recovers. - House Training: Dodam is nearly 100% house-trained for urination and defecation. She prefers outdoor potty breaks but will use indoor pee pads if necessary. - Bathing & Grooming: Dodam handles baths and teeth brushing well. Ideal Home: Dodam is a lively and playful dog who thrives on companionship and activity. She would do best in a home where she is not left alone for extended periods. A family with multiple members or other pets would be ideal. Given her high energy, she needs a family that enjoys regular physical activities and playtime. Never Alone Animal Rescue offers a two-week trial period to approved applicants to ensure the right match and commitment. To be considered, please complete the application thoroughly at [https://forms.gle/C7egqbpHppTX46Hz6]. Thanks to her foster parents’ support, Dodam is thriving in daycare, and she is ready to bring joy to her new family!
