Beautiful "Doc" is an 8-week old Sheltie/Border Collie mix. He was found as a stray by the side of a road. He is a typical puppy, loves to play, loves people, loves to play, loves other dogs, loves to play, loves being held and did I mention loves to play. He is as cute as a button and hard to resist but those sharp little puppy teeth and his active personality will make him unsuitable for a family with young children. He is all puppy in every way, the good and the bad, but one can't help but smile when he is with you. Border Collie's are known for their intelligence and their high spirit and will require an active family to keep him at peak condition and out of mischief. Doc's adoption fee is $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
