I am one of six dachshunds rescued from a neglect situation. When rescued I weighed just 2.9 pounds. I'm 3 1/2 months old and am now a healthy 5.6 pounds. Even though I'm the runt of the litter and the very smallest, I'm very healthy, happy and love to play with my brother and my new friend Emerson. I should grow into a small (under 20 pounds) dachshund in the next two years. And yes, I have already been neutered and had all my shots. Please have a safe, fenced area for my play.
