Good news!! ADOPTION PENDING! ~~ Dixie is a sweet, gentle, calm little girl. Very affectionate. Great with children/cats/dogs. ~~ She was found as a stray in central FL, starving and lonely. She is extremely friendly w/ people of all ages. Follows her foster mom and dad around the house, snuggles up on the couch to watch TV. Very mellow, calm, gentle, and laid back. Can be a real couch potato at times, but does still love to play and to go for long walks (even off leash.) Four years old. ~~ Is fine with cats, as you can see from the picture. Gets along very nicely w/ other dogs, is very submissive to them. Incredibly affectionate w/ people. ~~ Is currently being trained for the CGC certification test (Canine Good Citizen) and TDI (Therapy Dog International.) ~~ Is wonderfully gentle with children. ~~ Weighs 48 lbs, is 19" tall. ** SEE MORE PICS of Dixie playing happily here: www.RonBriggs.shutterfly.com ~~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions.
