Distinguished Murphy is an 11 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound waiting in Glendale for his furever home. Murphy was surrendered due to no fault of his own and had spent his life as a pampered only dog. He is housetrained, cratetrained, knows commands and doesn't let his age slow him down at anything! Murphy loves human affection and would do best in a home where he is part of the family, with a couch and a bed on which to relax. He is still very active and would be a great outdoorsy partner, as he loves to explore, and a great companion dog. Murphy can be an only dog or a pack dog; he seems indifferent as long as his humans interact with and love him. NO cats, please. He enjoys conversing with his people and wants to be with them. In good weight at about 75 lbs.
