Dirk has been with us almost 6 months now!
Dirk came in as a stray and was never claimed . Overall Dirk is a sweet goofy boy and is VERY treat motivated which helps tremendously with training. He did well in a recent meet with Athena, another GSD at the shelter. He just wanted to play with her. He is super smart and learns quickly. He is a dog that needs mental and physical stimulation, so as you can imagine suffers in a shelter setting. With kids, they would have to be old enough to understand boundaries as Dirk has some spine issues & wouldn't be one to tolerate climbing on him or such. He is a strong boy, so needs someone that can handle that.
