Meet Dida, a 5-month-old puppy, who is one of five adorable pups available for adoption at Animatch. Dida, along with his siblings and their mother, Habiba, hails from Tunisia. Life was a day-to-day struggle for this little family, as there are many unwanted dogs in their part of the world. Fortunately, a kind-hearted person cared for them until they could be sent to us. Dida and his family endured a long and frightening journey from Tunisia. While life was about to improve significantly for them, they didn’t realize it yet. Fear of the unknown paralyzed them for days, but they have come a long way since then. At three months old, Dida and his siblings are great with other dogs but still fearful of people. Another well-balanced dog in the home would be ideal to help them adjust. Anyone looking to adopt Dida must have realistic expectations, as it may take weeks, months, or even longer for him and his littermates to feel comfortable in a home environment. Toilet training, walking on a leash, and being comfortable with attention will all come in time, but patience is key. If you are up for the challenge, Dida or one of his littermates would be forever grateful. He is just waiting for the right home to help him blossom.
