Dexter

Me: Mr. Dexter, lets address the elephant in the room?. Your name is Dexter but you were NOT named after the famous serial killer "Dexter" on a TV series. right? Dexter: Of course I was! He was lovable, he was handsome and a lady Killer (no pun) and fought for good. I will be loyal and true to my family. Not sure what the "other stuff" is though. Me: lol..ok Tell me about your current living conditions? Dexter: I have a small bachelor's pad that I keep very clean: never know when a potential "lady-friend" will drop by right? I love to get out and enjoy the fresh air and walk pretty good for a boy my size. I don't get caught up in the "kennel-drama" some other dogs do and keep to myself. Me: Wait, hold up...Your size? Dexter: oh yeah, did you notice my pictures? I am pretty big so I will need some space to run and stretch these long strong legs. Me: how is your personality? Sort of like Dextor on TV right? (*rolls my eyes) Dexter: How did you know? I am very protective of my Hooman, nobody is getting close to you if I don't approve. Once I trust you, your my pack and like I said, I am very loyal. if you're looking for a home alarm, I am your man. But, I am STILL a dog, I have a soft spot for behind the ear rubs...sort of embarrassing not very manly but hey, guess it can't hurt if it means getting me my own family to love. Me: Our time is up, anything else you want to say? Dexter: Well, yes, I have had a hard life so please understand that I have my guard up...if someone will take the time to get past that and give me a chance, I would be your forever, ever-dog! I would do best in a household with no high noise and energy as I am quiet and low-key. I just want to sit beside your chair and have my own house and own bed to call me-own.
