Duece came to STAR this past november as a very sick guy. He was not only emaciated but also had Pneumonia. It took six weeks of antibiotics for him to finally get better enough to deal with his skin condition. He then had demodex mange which is not contagious and very treatable with ivermectin. So he is currently being treated for that until Jan. 20th. After that is over he has a cherry eye that we will be having repaired by our vets. This poor guys was obviously dumped off by someone who had no idea how to care for him. He has gone from 58lbs in Nov to currently being over 95 lbs, most of which he had gained in the first four weeks! He needs a special home where someone will have the patience and understanding he needs. He is very outgoing and very much in need of obedience training. He will only be going to someone who has the experience that he needs.
