Meet Desmond!! He came in as a stray on 10/24/23. We think he is about 2 years old. He is is still a little scared to be here. We couldn't get him to smile for his pictures. He is very food motivated because he is another heartbreaker who is way too thin. He seems like his past hasn't been the best. He deserves a chance to find a wonderful family where he will be loved and cared for. He has been heartworm tested and he is negative. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him!
UPDATE 3/27/24: Desmond was surrendered back to the shelter due to nipping at a male family member. We think he may be scared of some males and that is his response to protecting himself. The previous adopter said he is a wonderful dog!! He is good with dogs (male and female) and he has no food or toy aggression. He is housebroken and seems to do well with older children.
