My Story

Derby will turn 10 in May and we're still looking for a place for this senior man to call home... He's house trained. Good with dogs of all sizes and previously lived with a small dog but should be fed separate from others. He did ok with the cats he met as well. Derby enjoys eating food, going for walks, and being given loads of attention from his people. Derby enjoys having his butt scratched, but he REALLY likes it when you sit there and smack his butt. His bark is also not much of a bark at times either. He got some yard time at one of our recent dog walks and had people thinking there was a dog fight going down. No, he was just screaming and complaining because he wasn't getting the attention he thought he deserved. Derby will make an awesome dog for someone. He enjoys the occasional walks but definitely seems to be more of the couch potato type. UPDATE: ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! His adoption fee is $100. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.
