My Story
Meet Denver!
This little pocket pitty came to us after the humane society decided they would not adopt him out. He had a fracture in his growth plate. We decided that we would take him back and find his forever home. It's been tougher than we thought it would be. To us he is adorable. Maybe its his eyes? We can't figure it out, we love his eyes! It's like he looks into your soul. He is not doing well in the shelter. He had a temporary foster that he did great in. We know that once he is in a home he will be the your BFF!
Denver is working on some of his quirks. He gets himself riled up when he sees dogs smaller than him. He will redirect some of that anxiety. He is muzzle trained and loves when he gets to wear it. He knows some fun is heading his way! He does need a strong leader to make sure he stays in check. He loves to play with other dogs his size or bigger. He has a lot of energy but is also that guy who will chill on his dog bed. No cats, he isn't a fan.
Denver needs to put on some weight. When he is in foster he filled out and looked great. The shelter is just to much stress for him. He does have some discomfort in his back legs when he is too active (jumping and running). He will always have pain/arthritis in those back legs due to his injury, but it doesn't stop him lol! We have him on supplements to help.
Estimated to be 1 year 4 mo. old and 35lbs
Denver is ready for his forever home he is neutered, chipped, and UTD on vaccines. He has had a 4DX test and is negative for heartworm and tick disease.
