DENVER

DENVER HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IS RESIDING WITH HIS MOM JOYCE IN FALL RIVER, MA!! Denver is a male CAirn Terrier mix who is estimated at 9 mths of age. Denver came to the shelter after we received a stray dog report but as it turns out, the family lied and Denver really was their personal dog who they decided to toss aside like yesterday's trash. All because they no longer wanted to take care of him. Denver came to the shelter where he was bathed, defleaed, vaccinated and dewormed. Shortly thereafter, Denver became ill and was diagnosed with parvo. At 9mth of age, it is rare for dogs to come down with parvo but it can be assumed that Denver never received vaccinations to protect him against the sometimes deadly disease since his family obviously cared little about him. Denver was treated for parvo and luckily, being the trooper that he is, he survived. He did spend many days in the hospital but today, Denver is doing great and loving all the TLC he has been getting. Denver is believed to be a Cairn Terrier/Terrier mix and he is just as sweet and handsome as he can be. He is great with people and gets along well with other dogs and loves it now that he is out of isolation and can play with the other dogs at the shelter. Denver is small in size, weighing around 10 lbs or so. He is quiet, well-behaved, loving and a special little guy. He has really been through a lot and maybe YOU can make his life much better now.
