Meet Denver! This sweet girl is a Shepherd mix. At 5 years old, Denver weighs in at 33 pounds and she is working towards loosing a few pounds to become a healthy weight. Denver has a soft tricolor coat with an adorable frosted face and expressive eyebrows.
If it wasnt for her grey hairs, you would have no idea Denver is 5 years old- this girl is happy, upbeat, and playful! Denver enjoys playing with her toys, going for leashed walks, and exploring her foster familys fenced-in yard.
Denver is a people dog- a true sweetheart! She loves to be pet, hangout, and play with her foster family. She would do great in a home with teenagers who can to play with her and take her for walks or older children who are gentle and respectful towards dogs. Denver wouldnt mind the company of cats or calm, neutral dogs in her forever home. Denver has excellent potty habits, she knows to do her business outside. She is also doing well with her leash and crate training. All she needs now is a home to call her own!

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
