Hi folks, I’m Dennis, a 1-year-old Beagle mix with an apricot and white coat that’s just as sweet as I am. I tip the scales at 42 pounds, and I’m neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m a friend to kids and dogs alike. I have not been cat tested but can be if you’d like. I have a past that’s a bit rough around the edges – I was one of 50 dogs in a hoarding case. We were kept outside in kennels without much human interaction. A nice lady was trying to help stray dogs off the streets and things quickly got out of hand. Growing up without adequate socialization, I’m learning to trust and love the human touch. I’m a bit shy, but with a little patience and time, I’ll be your most loyal friend. I am already coming out of my shell and becoming playful in the short time I have been with my rescue. If you have a calm and confident dog that could show me the ropes, that would be even better! I’ve been great about not pottying indoors and am learning so much about life with people. I also behave very well when crated. I’m currently in Smyrna, TN, but for the right home, I can be transported. Are you the loving home I’ve been dreaming of?
