Denee

Meet Denee, pronounced Denny. Denee is a 47 lb Springer Spaniel who would love to celebrate her 6th birthday on August 15th in her furever home. Denee came to us as a breeder dog and quickly adjusted to living in a house after spending her whole life outdoors on a farm. She has not had any accidents in the house and is crate trained. She will be by your side patiently waiting for your affection. Denee will roll over any chance she gets hoping for a belly rub. Denee will give you kisses to show how much she appreciates you. Denee is good on a leash. Denee will point when she sees squirrels or birds. A gentle tug on her leash is more than enough to tell her not to run after them, she will stand and watch the other animal. Denee is content on car rides. When Denee was at a rescue event with cats, she wanted nothing to do with them, but has not been exposed to cats outside of a cage yet. Denee wants to be the dominate dog and will make it known. She will push others aside if you are giving another dog attention. Periodically, Denee will put her front paws on counters to see what you are doing, which we are working on correcting, and on window sills so she can look out. Denee loves attention and belly rubs too. She is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention.
