Dempsey is a male Black Lab young adult who is estimated at 1 year of age. Dempsey came to the shelter from the Salyersville area of Magoffin Co on 2/5/05. Dempsey is very socialized and very affectionate. He is great with the other dogs at the shelter and extremely friendly with people. It is estimated that he weighs around 60 lbs now and could stand to put on a few more as he is a little thin right now. A dog with a better personality you will not find! His teeth are still pearly white, meaning he is probably no more than 1 year of age, probably less. Dempsey would make the ideal family pet for almost any type of family. He is not a rowdy, jumpy dog so he would be fine around children. He has a very gentle temperament for such a big boy!
