Della

Della is a two year old female bearded collie. She's very sweet and cute. Bearded Collies are challenging dogs because they are very high energy and intense. Della is energetic and playful. She'll need some training and will do best with another dog and without children.

Della is a very sweet girl who has a bit of a nipping problem that we are working on. She gets nervous around new people and nips their legs when they walk by. She is getting better. She's just fabulous at home, but not out and about. She doesn’t mind her crate at all and actually prefers to sleep in it at night. She is very high energy and needs to have a lot of exercise (perhaps as a running companion) and would probably do best with another playful dog for security and to help with her energy. She gets along with all dogs and cats, but would not be good with kids.

Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes.

All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have adoption events at the Beaverton PetSmart every other Saturday where you can meet many of our dogs at once. Click Here for our Calendar of Events.
