My Story
Why Choose Me?
Foster update: For those unfamiliar with her story, Delilah was dumped at a liquor store and sat patiently waiting for her owners to show back up....they never did. Animal Control picked her up after a good samaritan reported that they had seen her waiting for hours.
To make a long story short, I am, and have been fostering her for months through a tragic bout with heartworms. Her heart and lungs have been affected and she will more than likely cough for the rest of her years, however long or short that may be. She has undergone heartworm injections and is on the mend mentally and physically.
She is the perfect companion. Perfect.
Super loving, zero issues , loves all living beings, and yes housebroken.
Delilah LIVES for car rides
While she can be a total couch potato at home, she loves nothing more than walks and riding shotgun with her head out the window.
Delilah is approx 5 years old, weighs 60lbs., and is being spayed this coming week.
She's a low rider so she's thicker than she is tall ?.
She has had many many liters, and her poor body shows the signs of it.
Delilah will improve your life ten fold, that I can guarantee.
When I stopped at Delilah's gate, she was lounging on her bed. She poked her head out, and as soon as I said, "Hey there, Delilah," she happily trotted out to meet me. She's the sweetest girl and likes being close and petted. She also likes treats, and when she wanted one, she'd let me know by sitting in front of me. If I didn't give her one right away, she'd inch a little closer. What a smart, precious girl!
