Deiton-Adopted!

Deiton is not with TnT Shar-pei Rescue at the moment but we are desperately trying to find him a foster or permanent home.
He is currently living in a shelter and is starting to show signs of stress in this environment.

Deiton does not show well at the shelter. He gets very excited when he sees people and when first taken out of his kennel. He also hates going back into his kennel as he is so stressed about being left alone again.
Deiton is a young boy who will love lots of exercise and outings with his new companions. He will thrive in a home willing to give him the guidance a young dog needs and the exercise to keep his body and mind in good working order.
He does get anxious when left alone in his kennel and may need to get use to spending time alone slowly once in a new home. Once out of the shelter and in a loving home where he feels safe he Will get used to you coming and going and this anxiety will lessen.
Deiton is extremely playful and loves attention. He adores you once you take a minute to get to know him. He may be nervous when out in new settings or when meeting new people and animals, Each new adventure will bring new confidence as long as it is a positive experience. Deiton does approach other dogs and seems interested in meeting them. He will shy away from dogs that bark. He has not spent much time on leash in the past so will need a bit of on-leash practice.
