Deacon *FOSTER TO ADOPT*

Hello! This is Deacon! Deacon is an approximately 15 week old male chihuahua mix ready for a home! Deacon is currently about 5 pounds. We are unsure about expected adult weight, as his parents are unknown. Deacon has a brown coat (the other dog in the pictures is Whiskey, his bio brother). He is not bonded to his brother and they can be adopted out to separate homes. This little boy is just dying to have a family of his own. He loves kids and loves to cuddle! Deacon seems to get along great with everyone. He enjoys going on pack walks with his older foster brothers. He also loves to wrestle and cuddle with his brother, Whiskey. Deacon is crate trained, has mastered stairs, and is working hard on his housebreaking skills. He has not been tested around cats, but his foster mom doesn’t expect that to be an issue. Deacon is vetted and is healthy. He has had age-appropriate vaccinations. As he is not old enough to be neutered yet, he will be considered foster to adopt status until he is old enough to be neutered. Deacon’s adoption donation is $350. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so southeast dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA. Deacon may also be considered for adoption in our midwest region (MI, MN, IL, WI, OH, KY) provided the right applicant is found and willing to pay transportation fees.
