This adorable duo is Dayna Mae and Petey! They are bonded littermates who are around three years old. They are terrier mixes that are a littttttle over weight at 25 pounds. They have been with us for a couple of weeks after being tied to a bench by our facility's front door. The two were slow to trust at first, understandably, after what they had been through, but have blossomed into playful and friendly dogs. Petey is the first out of the kennel, often running to the people that he loves to get some attention. Dayna will take a minute to survey what's going on, but loves trying to climb in the laps of the people she's comfortable with. They have great manners, keeping a clean crate and knowing to potty outside. Petey can be protective, and sometimes a little jealous when it comes to his sister, so a home where they are the only animals would be the best fit. They would also do best in a mature home, free of small children. Petey and Dayna Mae are a bonded pair, meaning they must be adopted together.
