Turns out I had a congenital defect in both of my hind legs. I got to have a couple of surgeries and then got to go to this awesome place called rehab where the kind folks at Head to Tail Pet Rehabilitation helped me get a ton better! I’m looking for my forever home but have spent some time learning all kinds of things while I’ve been getting better. I’m already fully kennel and house trained and have been working hard on my leash training! I’m doing well but I need someone who will continue to help me remember my manners. I am a social dog and do well with other dogs and even cats! However I would prefer a home without young children so I’d rather if they were 12 years old or older. I’m told I have a charming and confident personality, winning over everyone that has met me. I’m also a super cuddly dog who loves to learn. Learning means treats and I looooove treats. I do sometimes get a little stressed when people try to take high value things away from me, foster mom calls it ‘guarding’, but I’m doing my best to remember that I don’t have to worry about this. I do really well when I’m asked to trade things for treats and love eating my dinner in my kennel so I feel safe. Don’t worry, foster mom will explain all of this to you!
