BIO: Hi there, my name is Daunte's Lucky Starr, but you can call me Lucky. I was surrendered by my owner/breeder to a shelter in Indiana along with my mother, Starr. We were surrendered because our owner/breeder was too ill to take care of us. When SCBR came to get us, I was so relieved. I was a filthy, smelly, matted mess that had been kept outdoors most of my life with my Mom. I am a little shy when I first meet new people, but then I turn into a real marshmallow. I gave my groomer a real run for her money when she tried to groom me because all I wanted to do was roll over for belly rubs and snuggle. The first picture is my "before hairdo" the other pictures are my "after hairdo". Quite a difference, huh? I got an A+ for temperament and personality from my groomer as well as everyone at the vet clinic when I went in to be spayed. I do get along fine with other dogs and love people. I am heartworm negative and UTD on all vaccinations. You must have a completely fenced and secure yard in order to adopt me.
