Meet Dart! Dart is about 2 yrs old and weighs around 13 lbs. He was found under a truck at a gas station by a nice man named Dart. Dart is a wonderful boy! He was skinny and shy when he first came into rescue but now he is well-fed, sassy, outgoing, loving, and playful. Dart is currently living outside with other dogs at his foster mom Katherine's house. Dart loves to run around and play with the other dogs. He likes to chase cats a bit but quickly learns that they have claws. He does well with the resident cat, Harold, in his foster home. Dart is crate trained and is working on his house breaking. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
