Darla Doodle is a healthy, happy and outgoing little dog. She was just spayed and is ready to meet the perfect family and live happily ever after! She doesn't seem to mind cats and plays well with other dogs. One of her current running partners is an 85 pound American Bulldog who will chase her and in turn expect her to chase him. In the video is her best boyfriend Hamilton. She might be small but she can definitely hold her own! She loves to go for walks, ride in the car, and be a part of all the action of an active household. She is confident and does not know a stranger. Update July 6th- Darla has gained weight (she is now a healthy 21 pounds!) and has completed her heartworm treatment. She is doing great and will be spayed soon!!
This is our precious little Darla Doodle, the half breed poodle! She will not be available for another month and a half- today is May 20, 2007- but we are taking applications and inquiries in the meantime.
Darla will need a fenced in yard, a household where someone is home most of the day, and more love than she can handle. We will post her whole story soon, but this little angel was a stray, hit by a truck, on IV's and in the hospital 5 days, was not yet spayed, and we found out was heartworm positive....She has had her vaccinations and dewormed, but she had to gain weight first before we could start her heartworm treatment which will be this next week. We are pretty sure she is housebroken. She barks like a beagle, is an absolute lap dog, but has had a rough time.
