Daphne is approximately 1 1/2 - 2 years old. She came to us in December after someone found her on his farm. He didn't have a safe place for her so he couldn't keep her. The man was afraid that someone would shoot her or other animals would get her so he brought her to us. Later his neighbor came over and said that he saw a truck stop infront of his house and dump the poor little girl.
Daphne was pregnant when she came in but isn't anymore as she has been spayed. She is a very quiet, gentle, and loving little girl. All Daphne wants to do is be a baby on your lap and have you hold her. She just cries for attention when put back up in the small dog holding room. When the volunteer was taking her to the vet, Daphne sat on the seat next to the volunteer and gave her lots of kisses. We are not recommending that Daphne go to a family with small children as she is very jumpy and nervous. Although we do not believe she has a mean bone in her body, loud noises make her jump and run and hide. She does well with the other dogs. Daphne is very nervous in a crate and cries and cries.
