Oh hello! I'm Daphne, a 5 year old female Doberman.
Golly! It is SUCH a relief to be in rescue! I came into a shelter in Alabama as a "stray", but it's pretty obvious that I used to be a backyard breeder dog. There's sadly no telling how many litters I've had in the past. But I'm done with all that! I've been spayed and have recovered well in my wonderful foster home. I am a sweet lady who is looking forward to spending my years in a loving forever home. I am VERY affectionate and smart. Don't let my looks fool you! I'm much younger and spunkier than I may seem. I also love to romp and play with other dogs! Sometimes I can be a little bossy, so a home with male or submissive female dogs would be ideal for me. Older children would be great too!
