Dandy

Dandy is being fostered in Austin, TX but can be transported to other areas of Texas or the Northeastern states for adoption. *All breed listings are educated guesses and not guaranteed* Meet Dandy! Dandy is a beautiful chihuahua boy who is around 4 years old and weighs in at a teeny 6lbs. Dandy was rescued from a severe hoarding situation, so he is slowly learning how to enjoy life as a treasured pet! Dandy was a terrified little man when he arrived to his foster mom but is making strides in trusting humans and happily takes treats from his foster mom’s hand now. Dandy is currently using potty pads in his foster’s home, but we’re sure that he would be happy to learn about pottying outdoors with time and trust. Dandy is extremely cute and curious. He was quick to learn the word “treat” and the rustle of the treat bag! Dandy absolutely adores his toys and happily plays away by himself with his many squeaky toys and balls. Dandy is looking for a loving home with humans who are happy to take it slowly while they navigate their new relationship. Dandy would happily live with older kids who are able to respect his limits, and he also enjoys the company of other adult dogs. Due to Dandy’s shyness, he needs his people to understand that things must be done at his pace to avoid any spiciness.
