Dan Dan

Here is the best little guy ever! He's just a doll and loves everybody and everything life has to offer. He came into a Toronto area shelter and had very little hair and was very infected. His owner was told to give medication and shampoo his hair, but he didn't do it and then decided to move back to his original place of origin and leave Dan Dan in a crate outside shelter with a note. We have taken the best boy to our vet and have determined that he had a bad infection and are actively treating his skin and it's clearing up beautifully. These pictures I have loaded are not current - he has almost full hair now and is wire-haired like a dachshund. He's also long in the body like a dachshund but has a yorkie face. Dan Dan is house trained, not destructive when left alone, VERY Sweet and affectionate, is a busy guy, loves to know what you are doing and can he be part of the action? He does bark when crated, but will settle in about 10 minutes. He gets along AMAZINGLY well with other dogs and I haven't met a dog he couldn't befriend. In short, he's just a super little guy with a great attitude and spirit. He's about 2 years old, and is getting neutered this week. His skin infection is almost cleared up but I will take applications for him now because I want him to have a great home so he can start his new life.
