Dally has been with us since July 2023. We pulled him from the Stockton, California shelter after being notified that he was at risk of euthanasia. He was suffering from extreme kennel stress. Not only was he in an overcrowded. noisy shelter, but he was in the shelter right around the time of Fourth of July. He would get so stressed that he'd scratch the door of his kennel to the point of making his paws bleed. Dally would do great in a home with structure, and routine, where he's fed high-quality food and able to go on daily walks around the neighborhood.
"My name is Dallas, but I go by the name Dally, like from the novel "The Outsiders". I'm a Silly Dilly Dally who simply wants to please the people around me. I love to eat, go on walks, and rest by the feet of the people I love. I'm a healthy boy and weigh approximately 20 lbs.
