Dakota-- Playful!

Isn't he gorgeous? Dakota is a beautiful almost white Labrador Retriever. He is between 2-3 years old and weighs about 60#. He was an owner surrender because she no longer had time for him. I would've found time for him, he is a wonderful dog!

Dakota is a typical lab. Smart, happy, playful, loyal and gorgeous. He LOVES to play with a tennis ball. He would do it 24/7, so we have to have rules about when it's playtime and when it's not.

He gets along with other dogs, cats, and I'm sure kids. He would love a busy household with someone to plays with all of the time. He has energy to burn, but he also likes to snooze while watching TV, too.

He is house trained. Dakota is crated at night, but supposedly doesn't like being crated when you're gone. He had free roam of the house in his previous home and was not destructive.

He absolutely loves life! Everything is exciting and he doesn't want to miss a thing. He will let you know when he wants to play or wants something! He needs to be taught that patience is a virtue. Very typical of retrieving maniacs!

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax) . This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
