Dakota is an extremely sweet laid back mellow boy that just enjoys handing out with the people he loves. He gets along very well with other dogs and cats. Dakota came to us from an Arkansas shelter which was going to euthanize him because he was heartworm positive. We just couldn't let this happen to such a beautiful boy so he was transported to CT and has been treated for this condition.
Dakota can now expect to live a long and wonderful life with a new family. He is a medium size young adult weighing about 45 lbs. and about 2 years old. He will probably be a very easy dog for some lucky family. Dakota has been neutered, microchipped, and his shots are up to date, Dakota's adoption fee is $400 which will not even cover his transport fee and vetting. This boy would be a great dog for just about any family situation and if you are interested then please request a pre-adoption questionnaire. We always reserve the right to select the home we feel will be best for that particular dog. Connecticut adoption only.
