Dakota

I just cannot say enough about miss Dakota. When she was just a young pup, someone paid a reallly Shiney penny for her.She is a 10 month old Purebred Neapolitan Mastiff who has papers that just need to be filled out and sent in in order to be fully registered. She loves people, dogs, cats, kids, you name it! She is fun, loving and just wants a family of her own. She has a true personality and she will be 110% devoted to her family, she just needs to be taught some manors, because her former family did not teach her any, let alone spend much time with her. Dakota will not dart away from you when off the leash, but does need to be supervised if outside a fence( she will wonder off if your not there). She is your typical young dog who is full of energy and loves to play. She is working on learning not to jump on people. On her car ride up to our facility she rode in the back seat of the car with her head laying on the seat and her hind end sticking up in the air. When Dakota was asked what she was doing her whole rear began to wiggle with joy, but she did not break her pose the whole way there. She loves car rides. Since Dakota is soo strong, and does not realize her own strength because she was not taught right from wrong, she would do bes with older children, not because she is mean( she has not a mean bone in her huge body) but because we are afraid she will knock younger children down. We really would like for her future adopters to know about the breed, or to do some research on it prior to adopting her.She is about 1/2 housebroke and if worked with dilligently she can be finished off. But enough of me rambling on about how good she is, your best bet would to be to stop in and see what a magnificent dog she really is.
