Meet Daisy Mae! This Pom/Min Pin is a real dynamo. Even though she's at least seven years old, she still has the get-up-and-go of a puppy. When her foster comes home from work, she bounces off all the furniture like a little pinball, and when her foster says the magic word (walk!) she will jump twice her height into the air. She will also dance a little conga out on her hind legs for treats. When she's gotten her energy out, she is a huge cuddler and snuggler. She likes to sit right on her foster's chest and give her kisses. Daisy Mae is a very people-oriented dog and always wants to be where the action is. Daisy Mae is potty-trained. She will go outside to pee or use puppy pads if available. She does sometimes have poop accidents if she is fed two large meals in a day; she does best with either one small and one large meal, or just one large meal. She does not know any commands, but is good at picking up on routine and general ideas, like "time for bed" or "go outside." She is very treat-motivated, so she should be easy to train in the future, with a little bit of patience. Daisy May is timid around some men, so she bonds best with women (she's never aggressive, she's just shy around men and may bark). She has not lived with cats or kids. We think she would be okay in an apartment with frequent walks. She is great with other dogs. Daisy May is 7 years old as of May 2024. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and are on heartworm prevention. With an approved application and home visit, her adoption fee is $159.
