Daisy-adopted!!

Daisy Duke came to us from Chilliwack Animal Control as a stout puppy! She wasn't even a planned pick-up, but one of our volunteers happened to visit, and fell a little bit in love with her sweet face. Thankfully the Kaprova's and their lovely Pit Bull Max were waiting for their first foster dog. They did an amazing job raising Daisy Duke up right, and bringing her to weekly Behaviour for Bullies classes. As she grew she began to look less and less like an American Bulldog, and more like a good old-fashioned mix breed girl. New pictures from Pit Ed classes led to a flurry of applications for Daisy. Jennifer and Gilles fell in love with her as soon as they saw her. She showed off her best moves to them at class, and soon that were smitten. We look forward to hearing about all her many adventures in life!

Daisy Duke is a sweet as punch mixed breed pup- we're thinking American Bulldog x Lab. Whatever she is mixed with gives her a coat as soft as a bunny rabbits. Fostered with a great couple and their Pit Bull boy whom she is quickly out-growing. She will be a decent sized girl when full-grown. She is now about 5 months old and learning all her basics. She is attending our Behaviour for Bullies classes, and charming everyone! She does a great "watch me" and is always looking to her foster mom for further cues. Typical of bull breeds, Daisy does have allergies, and her adopters will need to feed her a RAW diet or hypo-allergenic food. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her:

."Daisy is a great puppy. She loves to be held and cuddled and doesn't mind the fact that she barely fits on your lap anymore, she loves to play with her toys (but doesn't chew on anything else in the house), and likes to play fetch (brings the ball back and drops it in exchange for a cookie). This gal is very smart and already understands many commands such as sit, stay, down, shake a paw, leave it, and drop it! She is house trained and will stand by the door when that special time comes. During the day, Daisy is usually left in the kennel for up to 7 hours without incident. Daily walks are a must, and we have started taking her to obedience classes. So far she is doing great, catching on to everything very fast, especially for treats! At her young age, five months old, she is unbelievably smart and extremely willing to please her owners."

Daisy Duke will be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped and tattooed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $250 to help cover Bully Buddies vet costs. $50 will be refunded upon completion of a basic obedience class.
