Name: Daisy Breed: Manitoba Designer (mixed breed) DOB: March 2024 Kids: Yes with proper supervision, puppy energy (ex: jumping, nipping while play) Dogs: Yes, has foster siblings Cats: Unknown, likely fine with slow introduction My name is Daisy, I arrived in Ontario from Northern Manitoba in mid-June with my two sisters, where we were saved from an impending dog shoot. I am a very smart, loving, curious and confident girl who loves everyone I meet! I am currently living with two former rescues who my foster mom adopted and we are all getting along well. I love to play with them and they are teaching me some manners! When I’m not chasing or wrestling with my foster siblings I love to play ball or chomping on a good bully stick or chew toy, especially if it makes some noise! As much as I love playtime, I think I like cuddles and nap time just as much. I am still adjusting to a crate as I like to be with my humans but I am getting there, very small increments at a time. At bedtime I sleep in the same room as my foster brother and parents because I like to be near my humans. When I wake up please take me straight outside. I stay in the crate when I am going to be left alone so I can be safe as I am still a puppy and could get into trouble if I am left out. I also eat in my crate because my humans are trying really hard to make is a positive space for me. I am extremely food motivated which is great in helping me to learn new things such as sit and come, which I think I have mastered. My foster mom says I am ready to find my very own family who will love me as much as I will love them. I will fit in with a family with another dog who has found their forever home as I am very social, but I could also be the only dog if my people love to spend quality time with me. I can’t wait to meet you to show you what a fun loving and sweet girl I am!
