Daisy

Daisy is a very sweet girl who likes to chase a ball around, play with toys and chew bones! She loves affection, especially belly rubs! She likes playing with toys and her foster brothers most of the day unless she is taking a break by basking in the sun. She is definitely a lover and can't get enough pets and belly rub. Daisy is very treat motivated and quick to learn new things. She's average in temperament and high energy level which she exerts by chasing the ball around thrown by her human and long walks. She knows how to sit, is house broken and comes when you call her name. She barks when she thinks she needs to alert her Foster Family, but quiets down with correction. She likes going for walks, but is still working on her leash skills. She does ok with car rides, enjoys bathing and gentle brushing. Daisy would do well in an active home since she is still for all intents and purposes a puppy and loves to play! She would do well as an only dog or in a home with another playful dog. Daisy takes time to transition into a new environment so will need an adopter who is patient and committed to giving her the time she needs. Daisy was reactive to new people and didn’t respond to correction when she initially arrived at her foster home. She’s made tremendous progress. She listens now and is much friendlier to strangers. She can still be protective of the door and gate. She is doing very well in a foster home where the human demonstrates leadership in the pack; this is something that will be important for her adopters to continue. Daisy’s adopter will have access to a trainer who will be available to help ensure she has a successful transition into her forever home and family. Daisy is in Los Angeles. She is ~ 2 years old and weighs 14 lbs. She is a terrier and she does shed. Daisy is spayed, current on all of her vaccinations and micro-chipped.
