My Story

Daisy is a sweet Shepherd mix that is looking for her people! She came into rescue as a puppy, was adopted, and when that didn't work out, she came back to us. She is now about a year old and full of fun. She is very much a Shepherd - loyal and sweet with her people, and a little cautious when she's meeting new folks. She is a bit wary and barks with new folks, but warms up and starts giving kisses once she's familiar with her new people and environment. Daisy is also partially blind. We think she sees rough shapes and light and shadows, and this doesn't slow her down one bit! She maps out her environment and gets around, plays, and romps just fine! She is super smart, has learned basic commands, and loves to play with toys. She is great with cats, kids, and other dogs. Since she is a bit cautious in new situations, having a dog sibling would be best for her confidence. She does really well in the yard and on walks, but isn't a fan of busy environments like cities and urban areas. Daisy loves to play but also loves to chill in the house. She stays close to her people and uses her other senses to tell who her people are - get ready for lots of nose boops, sniffs, and kissing as she orients herself! She sleeps in a crate overnight and is ready to go in the morning for adventures. Daisy doesn't let her eyesight dim her adventures. Is your place the right place for her?
