Daisy

Daisy is on the shyer side, but seems a little more interested in humans when there are snacks in hand. She is accepting of gentle pets, but she will need a significant amount of time to settle and come out of her shell. Please submit an inquiry below to schedule an appointment to meet Daisy. --- We took in over a dozen adult dogs and older puppies that were rescued from commercial breeder facilities. These are dogs that are no longer used for breeding or couldn't be sold and would otherwise have no future. Some of these dogs are social and crave human interaction. However, many of them are terrified, still trying to determine if they can trust us. A few have started coming out of their shells, and we're hopeful that they'll continue to blossom once they know they are safe. We are still learning about these special dogs but we know one thing for sure: they all are deserving of a fresh start, a new life, and a family of their very own. We truly cannot begin to imagine what they've been through but Animal Haven is here to guide them. While we want them to find the best homes as soon as possible, potential adopters must understand they will take time to really settle in and show their true personalities. We can't speak for their full history, experiences, or training - assume you are starting from scratch. Asking if they can walk on a leash or if they are house-broken or if they have basic training are simply the wrong types of questions to be asking for dogs with a history like theirs.
