Among Daisy's many outstanding characteristics, two are pre-eminent. One is her extraordinary ability to get along with other dogs. The second is her keen intelligence, which also has given her a profound capacity to bond.
Daisy is affectionately called Puddin' (short for Pudding) in her foster home, where she has embraced the concept of belonging to a household with all her heart and soul. A beautiful dog, Daisy has a searching expression, and completely direct and open eye contact. She moves easily and well, and has a lovely conformation.
Daisy is, at 11 months of age - often a trying time of adolescent challenges - a pup who shows immense promise and remarkable skills. She is a problem solver, and her adopter(s) will need to continue the positive guidance and training she has received in foster care, but she will be a pleasure to work with! Because of her innate stability, Daisy has a very joyful relationship to new experiences, people and, of course, other dogs. She is well socialized with cats.
Daisy is housetrained, working well on a lead, and following the basic structures of appropriate behaviors in all categories. While she is not above an occasional theft of a tempting object left lying about, she is primarily a most cooperative dog. Her exuberance, which is completely appropriate for her age, is tempered by a strong desire to please. She is wonderfully responsive, and extremely tactile - she loves to be handled.
Nature has given Daisy abundant beauty, an instinct for navigating the world easily and well, and a hopeful, positive outlook. Foster care has engendered an opportunity for Daisy to demonstrate a tremendous capacity to learn, and to gain absolute trust in the goodness of people. She has blossomed into a happy, bright and caring dog, and she will bring devotion, loyalty, and wonderful companionship to an adoptive home.
