Dagwood has found his forever home with Guy and Laurine K. in Stoughton, MA

Meet Dagwood!!! He is a 6 month old Lab & Doberman Mix, weighing 30 lbs. who was found abandoned on a country road in the south. He is now living in foster care and here is what his foster family has to say---- Dagwood should be called "Angelboy" because he is just that good!!! He is quite gentle and affectionate with little dogs, puppies,children and cats, but he does love a boisterous round of play with squeeze toys, balls & tug-o-war. He also likes to talk while he plays :) Dagwood is mannerly, intelligent , affectionate, but never pushy. It usually only takes one correction to teach him the house rules such as "leave the cat food". He is house trained ans working hard on his crate training. He has a great nose and is a dedicated hunter of field "varmints" of all kinds. So if you want a dog to protect your garden or alert you to the presence of snakes, here's your hero. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
