I WOULD LOVE A HOME WHERE I GET ALL THE ATTENTION AND IT WOULD HELP WITH MY SEIZURE DISORDER BECAUSE OF LESS STRESS FROM HAVING TO SHARE ATTENTION WITH OTHER DOGS. Hi, my name is Dagon and I'm a 4 year old Golden Lab mix. I'm searching for a forever home that does not have children because I have developed seizures that can be pretty bad at times. When I was 4 weeks old, I came to S.A.F.E. Animal Haven with an injury to my head. I am 4 years old now and 3 years ago I started having seizures. I am currently on medication for my seizures and I take it twice daily for the rest of my life. S.A.F.E. Animal Haven took me to a neurologist for a CT Scan to try and figure out what is causing me to have seizures because the blood work came back normal. Well, the CT Scan and the spinal tap came back normal too. They are unable to determine what is causing me to have these problems. When I was younger and went to a lot of events, most people passed me by because I am blind in my left eye. I do have special needs but I would thrive in a home where I was the only dog! I would prefer no children and to have all the attention to myself. I really am loveable! I still think I'm a puppy in a big dog body. I need someone to make sure that I receive my medication daily and play with me in a fenced backyard. I am very smart and I know how to sit and come when I am called. Please consider giving me a forever home with a traditional fenced yard and showing me that there are other people who care. My life didn't get off to a great start but with my foster parents from S.A.F.E. Animal Haven and people like you, I am experiencing happiness.
