DAGGER & CLOAK were abandoned puppies sadly scavenging the streets of Houston for food just trying to survive. On a cold and rainy day, one of our volunteers happened to see them repeatedly attempting to cross a very busy boulevard, narrowly avoiding being hit by oncoming cars. The volunteer blocked traffic allowing the pups safe crossing passage. With treats and patience, they were finally coaxed into the shelter/safety of the car.
DAGGER & CLOAK are both approx 10 lbs and 9 months old. We estimate they may be about 15 lbs full grown. They are so cute with their little under bites!
They are now everyone's friend, both humans and dogs of various sizes. They are a frolicking pair that never run out of kisses. It would be great if Dagger & Cloak could be adopted together. If separately, it is best that they have another K9 friend in their new home.
